This is a very easy recipe, and I’m sure you will enjoy it because it’s very yummy and simple, and you can add the cheese to a meal to make it more interesting.
Ingredients:
- 1-2 eggs
- pinch of salt (optional)
- some all purpose flour
- frying oil
- Cheeeseee!!! ( Use cheddar cheese or emmental cheese. Mozzarella is not good for this recipe, because it will melt to quickly and the egg is not going to be able to stop it from staying in place. But you can still try and see how it will turn out. Trust me, you will probably fail).
- Put the eggs into a bowl and mix them well. Add the salt if you prefer.
- Keep adding little amounts of flour to the eggs, until the mixture gets sticky, (which is what we need to keep the cheese covered in egg).
- Add your breadcrumbs into another bowl.
- Cut the cheese into 2 cm pieces and dip them into the egg mixture.
- Next put them into the breadcrumbs bowl, so that they are covered with the crumbs.
- Pour some oil (about 1 cm deep) in a pan that is on medium – high heat.
- When the oil is hot, put the cheese in the pan. You should be ready, because you need to turn them quickly when the egg on the cheese is turns golden brown.
- Serve warm.

I love this recipe, thanxx for putting it on…. i ll try to make it!!!:)
Thank you very much, I appreciate it! Wish you good luck in making it!
PS: I advise you to buy the emmental cheese. Translated in Slovene is “Ementalec”, and you can even find it in Hofer. Dont know about the other ones, but I know it is also in E. Leclerc. In Hofer it has like a red plastic wrapper, and it says it in some cursive text in red, and the background is like a landscape with like a cow and a sun and mountains and clouds.
Lina you dont have to worry about it okay
I’m not worrying about it. I just wrote it to help you find the cheese and… cause I’m a nice person
Oh, if you click on the picture, you will get like the bigger size photo, and you can see like the crispiness….yum.
