Things you need: (for about 35 cookies)

125g of butter

125g of sugar

1 big spoon of syrup (we prefer corn syrup)

1 tea spoon of bicarbonate soda

1-2 big spoons of milk

200g of wheat flour

1 tea spoon of baking powder

1-2 big spoons of normal cocoa powder

125g of corn flakes

2 big spoons of oat flakes

They are sooo yummy and very easy to make!

Instructions:

Set your oven on 180⁰C (356ºF). Melt the butter, sugar and syrup. Add the bicarbonate soda melted in the milk. Put the flour, baking powder and cocoa in a bowl, then the rest of the ingredients. Slowly continue pouring on the butter mixture in the bowl and keep mixing it with a wooden spoon.

Make your cookies have a cookie shape and when your putting them on the baking tray, make sure you press down hard with a fork, so they are flat. They need to be flat so they are quickly finished baking. About 15 minutes you should see that the cookies will kind of expand. Take them out of the oven when they are brownish gold and crispy.

Ingredients for the dumpling filling:

ground pork/beef

soy sauce

pinch of salt (optional)

white onion

garlic

cabbage leaf

frying oil

Filling:

1. Add some frying oil to the pan and half – fry the meat. A type of juice will come out of the meat. Save it for further use.

2. Cut the white onion and cabbage into fine pieces. Grind the garlic, or if you want you can also cut it with a knife into very small pieces.

3. Put the meat and the juice from the pan and into a bowl. Add the some soy sauce, a pinch of salt and mix it with your hands.

4. Add the vegetables into the bowl as well and mix all together.

Ingredients for dumpling dough:

All purpose flour

Water

Making dumplings:

1. Form the dough into a “worm – shaped” line and cut small pieces off with a knife.

2. Roll the small pieces/balls untill you make a round, thin dumpling sheet.

3. Add a small spoon of the filling to the center of the sheet.

4. Fold the sheet in half and seal it with your hands. There are a lot of ways Japanese dumplings can be fold, so go check it on Google.

5. Next add a very small amount of frying oil to the pan and place the dumplings in it. Pour water on the dumplings, untill they are half covered. Cook on medium heat, and put the lid on.

6. When all the water has evaporated, take off the lid, spread some more oil around the dumplings and put the lid back on. Cook for another 2 minutes.

7. When you see that the bottom of the dumplings is golden brown, remove them from the pan and serve warm.

You can also make a dumpling sauce out of soy sauce and garlic, to make it even more delicious.

Good luck, and bon appetit!

This is a very easy recipe, and I’m sure you will enjoy it because it’s very yummy and simple, and you can add the cheese to a meal to make it more interesting.

Ingredients:

1-2 eggs

pinch of salt (optional)

some all purpose flour

frying oil

Cheeeseee!!! ( Use cheddar cheese or emmental cheese. Mozzarella is not good for this recipe, because it will melt to quickly and the egg is not going to be able to stop it from staying in place. But you can still try and see how it will turn out. Trust me, you will probably fail).

Put the eggs into a bowl and mix them well. Add the salt if you prefer.

Keep adding little amounts of flour to the eggs, until the mixture gets sticky, (which is what we need to keep the cheese covered in egg).

Add your breadcrumbs into another bowl.

Cut the cheese into 2 cm pieces and dip them into the egg mixture.

Next put them into the breadcrumbs bowl, so that they are covered with the crumbs.

Pour some oil (about 1 cm deep) in a pan that is on medium – high heat.

When the oil is hot, put the cheese in the pan. You should be ready, because you need to turn them quickly when the egg on the cheese is turns golden brown.

Serve warm.
